After one of our recent community drop offs, the person coordinating food and essentials for their community reached out and asked what organization we were with. When I told her we are simply community members choosing to show up for one another, she shared how much that meant. There was no external force behind it, no requirement. Just neighbors caring for neighbors.

Because of you, we have been able to support multiple communities with food, hygiene items, and everyday essentials. Each time, families are reminded that they are not alone.

Right now, we have been reached out to again by multiple different communities for help, and I want to put it out there to see how much we can show up.

I have been spending time inside these communities and am seeing firsthand how much fear many families are living with. Families have been separated. Many are afraid to leave their homes. Kids are missing school, missing fresh air, and missing the chance to just be kids. They continue to be actively terrorized by ICE daily.

And still, these communities continue to take care of each other. Neighbors are sharing what they have and doing their best to make sure no one goes without.

Here are the current needs:

A bulk drop of food, hygiene items, and household essentials to support approximately 75 families.
Support for a smaller community with 8 families who could use additional care right now.
Immediate help for a group of 12 displaced individuals being cared for and housed by a trusted community member who is suddenly navigating very intense family, medical, and financial hardship.

If you are able to help, the most impactful way right now is by signing up to donate items. Please use the link below to choose what you are able to contribute. Once you sign up, you can message me for the drop off address so we can gather everything for delivery.

We will also be picking up supplemental items from The Open Door on Monday so we can stretch every donated item and dollar as far as possible. If you are available to help with pickup, please reach out.

We will not need to individually bag items for the bulk drop, but we WILL need strong delivery support next week on Tuesday or Wednesday. Deliveries must happen on a weekday between 8 and 4. If you have availability during those hours, please message me.
