Dakota County Mutual Aid is powered by people who believe that no one should have to face hardship alone. Every grocery delivery, every ride to work, every school supply donation, and every hour of service helps strengthen our community.

Whether you have a few hours each month, or want to volunteer regularly, we’d love to have you join us.

Volunteer Opportunities

Transportation

Help neighbors get to work, medical appointments, legal appointments, or other essential destinations.

Grocery & Food Delivery

Pick up food from our community partners or shop for groceries and deliver them to families throughout Dakota County.

Administrative & Behind the Scenes Support

Assist with phone calls, data entry, intake follow-up, social media, fundraising, grant writing, translation, photography, graphic design, website support, or volunteer coordination.

Community Events & Outreach

Help with community events, resource fairs, donation drives, outreach efforts, and other opportunities that bring neighbors together and strengthen our community.

Communicate clearly and reliably.
Complete any required screening or orientation for certain volunteer roles.
