In light of the recent incidents impacting Muslim communities here and across the country, local mosques have asked for supportive community observers during Eid al-Adha prayers on Wednesday morning.

Eid al-Adha is one of the most important and meaningful holidays in Islam, and this is an opportunity to quietly stand alongside our Muslim neighbors in a spirit of care, solidarity, and respect.

Community members are welcome to attend as peaceful observers/supporters at:

  • Juniper Mosque prayer at Casperson Park at 8:00 AM

  • MAS Rosemount and Lakeville Eid prayers at Hasse Arena in Lakeville

Prayer times: 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM

Observers are simply there to greet attendees, be a calm and supportive presence, and help ensure everyone feels safe.

A few important notes:

  • Please arrive 15-30 minutes early if attending

  • Please do not bring signs, flags, chants, or anything disruptive

  • This is not a protest or demonstration

  • Please dress respectfully and follow the lead of mosque/community organizers

Thank you to the community members continuing to show up with kindness and care for our neighbors.
